Single Digits
We have finally reached the single digits. Single digits people. I have been counting down since about 54 days until I would get to leave for America. There are only 9 more days to go. I did a little jig as I pulled off the 10 to let the 9 show. Yesterday we had a international concert. I was from Africa. It was more that my skirt was from Africa, but that is besides the point.

Long Weekend
We had off of school on Thursday and Friday because of Christ Ascension. I ended up going into Jakarta to spend the weekend there. I stayed at my friends house with Brittany and Lindsey while they were away in Malaysia. On Thursday we had a BBQ with some other teachers from Kemang and our friends from church. It was great to hang out with other people, and to laugh and play games. On Friday, Lindsey and I went to get our visa for China. We had to drop off the application in the morning and then pick it up in the afternoon. While waiting for my visa to be ready I went back to the house to hang out by the pool. Then I went to lunch with Brittany and Rocio. We went to a place called Mad for Garlic. We were picturing tons of wonderful food full of garlic. That was not so. There was some food with minimal to no garlic and bad service. We will not be going there again. Instead of being Mad for Garlic I am Mad at Garlic. After lunch I picked up my visa so that I can officially go to China. I could stay for 30 days if I wanted too. I don't want too. On Saturday there was more pool time followed by a cream bath and pedicure followed by church and dinner out with friends for a birthday. It was a great weekend to rest and relax before we finish the school year and everything is due and everything has to get done. Eighteen more days until I leave for home. Eleven more school days with my students.

Bug Bite
I woke up this morning and the side of my face really itched. I hopped into the shower and continued to itch the side of my face. When I got out of the shower I looked in the mirror and I saw a very large bug bite on the side of my face with smaller bites all around it. I put some cream on it, and I am trying to not itch it. This bug bite is the biggest strangest bug bite that I have ever had.
I had my teaching partner take a couple of pictures so that you can see what it looks like.

Only a Teacher
I was eating lunch with my students today and this is what came out of my mouth. "Jeremy! Stop pretending that your hands are guns and sit down and finish your lunch."
Only a teacher would use that in their everyday vocabulary and it would be okay.
